Literal Cal

Me upon seeing Cal walk into the computer room stark naked: "Why are you naked?"

Cal, sauntering in without a care in the world: "Because I don't have any clothes on."

Yep. That about sums it up.

If you're at all weird like me and love looking at vacation pics, here's a few from my SC trip last week.

Another good mix of updates tonight. Once again, enjoy 'em, and holler if you know of a site we should be checking and aren't.

Great vacation photos--I always plan to take photos, mean to, think about it, but seldom do. Your pics look just like all my trips to Myrtle Beach. Maybe I'll buy yours and tell everyone to just imagine me in the shots! It looks like you and your family had a cool time--thanks for sharing.

We did have a fun time but I think my brother was rethinking his vacation by the end of it. He's 36 and unused to the antics of kids.

Myrtle Beach was an interesting place. Kind of like Branson, MO by the sea. I'm sure we'll go back but may wait a year or two to do it. Galveston, TX is much closer to us and we may try a condo and beach vacation there one summer.

Hmmm...Galveston, huh? Well, I live in Houston, so maybe I'm a bit byassed, but do you really want to vacation in Galveston?! Although it is incredibly close, I am seldom moved to go there because it's crowded, hard to get on and off the island--traffic is nightmarish. There are some less crowded TX destinations--Surf Side (Yeap, that's what it's called) or Corpus Christi or...you get the idea. Since you've just returned, you have time before your next trip, but if you're thinking TX, don't just choose Galveston because it's the most well known, because really, there are some pretty and relaxing and fun and less crowded beaches around the state. Also, don't forget that it's way, way, way, hotter here than S. C.

Mom has been the one who's hot on Galveston. We actually vacationed in Houston one summer so know first hand how hot and humid it gets. We only spent a day on Galveston island but it was quite nice.

Corpus Christi I've visited. Nice place. Surf Side I'll have to check into. Port Aransas was okay too. All of these have the benefit of being *much* closer to Oklahoma than Myrtle Beach.
