Typical Saturday

Another day of chores for us although light ones. E's "moon cycle" (as one of the kids at school calls it) is making her feel like crud today. We did some easy yard work in the morning and now she's resting in the comfy green chair reading.

I also went to a local bookstore to pick up Mike's Father's Day gifts from the kids. I chose a book of fun things to do with kids in the Seattle area and the new David Sedaris book he's been wanting.

Our bathrooms have been cleaned and the way too ripe bananas have been turned into banana muffins. We need to take a few things to Goodwill but I may save that for Sunday. Being a slug sounds good to me right now.
