Post Turkey Day

Our first Thanksgiving in Shoreline went quite well. Thank goodness Elisa isn't a cook who worries about the food. She approaches family feasts the way I do...it'll be ready when it's ready and there's no need stressing. And, a bonus for me, E loves cooking the turkey. I hate that. I do, however, enjoy making dressing. E was happy to ditch the Pepperidge Farm stuffing for it. Duncan was very happy about that. It's his favorite thing about Thanksgiving.

Today we avoided Black Friday shopping. Everyone is set for computers so no overnight stays in line were needed. I think Duncan was a little disappointed but Mike was relieved. The only productive thing we managed to get done was moving E's exercise bike out of the spare room. A trundle bed will be coming sometime next week and we need the space. Isn't that the fate of most exercise equipment? Used diligently for awhile and eventually shuffled off to the garage to make room for something else.

Another small update. Y'all enjoy 'em.
