Nibbles

The new addition to our growing list of pets is a honey bear hamster named Nibbles. We were warned by the helpful sales clerk that he will bite when scared but if we continue to be calm with him our opportunity to pet him regularly will be there. Also he let me know that they sleep the majority of the day and are awake at night. Both seem true.

He may be a fat little furry beast but he does bite hard and let's just say last night he enjoyed his new Critter Trail home we purchased for him. Good thing that excercise ball at the top is darn quiet because I think he spent a good portion of the night in it...with two indoor cats looking on longingly.
