Finally Summer

Summer has finally arrived here in the Pacific Northwest (knock wood). This week we've seen plenty of sun and temperatures in the mid 70s. Typically these temps hit in June. I'm not going to complain one bit. It sure beats August heat.

Another positive for the good weather is it's allowed me to get out and about with my student. During the month of August we're heading out two days a week. I let him pick where he wants to go and, as a result, week one has been "go to a park". I'm thinking the next few weeks will also see us at parks. It's a good thing they love parks here and they love hiking trails.
