Has anyone else noticed the recent wave of writers poppin' up from basically, everywhere, with such amazing stories...so talented in the delivery of their tales. It made me think of all the writers out in this world, that, have yet to find a forum to dip their toes into. The uber fan/fic universe I visit is so kind and giving...and HUGE!!
I am an avid reader of quite a few different fandoms, alts, gen, uber,slash...whatever! "Original" stories are my first choice though. Anyhow, because I read, I feed. And every bard I've made contact with, has replied with their gratitude for my thanks to them, for sharing a piece of themselves. Feedback is very important in most everyone's daily life. It's the only thing that's truely made my perfomance of any task better, if not wiser.
With the smoragasbord of readers varied professions and recreations, the first hand source of information could be a vital element in a writers story. I've been told by more than a few bards, that research is a large factor in stories. Obtaining relevant information is hard to come by. 1,000,000 links to slowly sift through...zzzzzzz.Ya know?!!! Would it help any writers write even better stories if they had more lifestyles, careers, histories, ideals and customs to work with?? It couldn't hurt....egos maybe...
If a bard needs help with something for character development, job performance specifics...ask...and you receive. The known world still works like that right?? Knowledge is power and all that?? Thanks, Uber Etc. May you never have a blank page again!!--dez
