Vacation is just around the corner....

After work tomorrow our week of vacation begins. Mom's plane arrives in Seattle at 7 pm. I foresee us heading straight to Ivar's since it'll be right around dinner time for her. She has to get her quota of fish and chips while she's here.

We don't have much planned for the weekend and then on Tuesday we'll head to Portland for a few days. Mom is really wanting us to visit Canada one of these mid-winter break trips but after last year's Disneyland trip this one needed to be on a budget. Not sure we'll be able to pull off Canada next year either.

I know all of us are looking forward to the week of vacation. I, along with little e, am happy to be visiting Powell's again. This will be little e's first trip to Powell's and she's very excited. Not sure the boys will be quite as excited about a big bookstore excursion. I can track down a good video game store for them.
