Still Raining

The area near the river which is usually known as Exminster Marshes is currently Exminster Lake. The houses on the river bank no longer have gardens, they have water features, and if I lived in one of them I'd have moved everything upstairs by now, because after today's rain they'll have indoor water features. We currently have gale force winds (40 to 50 miles per hour with gusts up to 70) and torrential rain. I've been in a monsoon and what we have right now feels every bit as bad - but colder.

And those poor bastards in the villages in the Somerset Levels are still cut off - 7 weeks it's been now.

Apparently California has a drought. I think we've been having their rain as well as ours. I wish there was some way we could send some over.

And Australia has bush fires again. Stay safe out there folks.
